like the menu we had on the Diamond the week of Nov 4 - 11 2006. HMMM YUM!!!!

We did Naytime Dining and really always able to walk in at any time and be seated (Usually a table for three). Once we had to wait half a glass of wine until our table was ready. No hardship at all :)

I heard the menu's on the Diamond were going to be changed soon but not sure when.

The two "Captain's" dinners are the two formal nights. Also, the "Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party" is held on the first formal night - one party for early diners, another who dine later ("anytime" diners are welcome at either).

Lobster and Beef Wellington are featured on the final formal night. Neither DH nor I like crab legs, and I don't recall what menu featured them. Sorry!

Is it possible to see the menus for a whole cruise in advance? I want to make sure I do the specialty restaurants on our next cruise, but want to schedule them for the nights when I won't miss anything interesting on the menu in the regular dining rooms! I know on the last cruise, there was an "island" or something night and nothing really looked good.

I dont have a whole weeks menu, but check out www.cruisedailies.com for samples of menu's, including dining on your balcony, room service or traditional or anytime menu's. They also have listed the Specialty Restaurant menu's. This should be of some help. I know it would be great to have a weeks worth of menu's. We are going on the Grand on 2/17, and i am going to try to write down the menu's for each day, so we can post it for future cruisers. The platters are also on this website, so you can get an idea of what is scheduled each day and what specials they are having. Hope this helps. Tami
