Luggage Tag Question

First Timers here leaving tomorrow

 

Question:

 

Are the luggage tags that Carnival sent for the checked in bags only or do we need to use them for the carry-on's also?

It's not a bad idea to put it on your carry-on too. If for some reason it should be misplaced, the tag has your travel info on it.

I always put the luggage tags on my carry on's, you never know when you may leave one laying around, i even put a tag on my camera bag.

We never put the tags on the carryons and never have a problem.

I actually have other luggage tags for id purposes but I want to know if I need the official Carnival ones on the carry-on's also.

You NEED to put the official luggage tags on any bags that you intend to have the porters bring to your room. If you're going to turn over your carry-ons to the porters at the pier, YES, you need luggage tags. If you intend to carry-on your carry-ons, you do not NEED to put the luggage tags on them.

 

If you should set your carry-on down somewhere on board before you can get into your room, a member of the ship's staff will not know what cabin to deliver it to unless it has the luggage tag on it.

I don't put them on my carry on, but I usually don't have too much trouble keeping up with my stuff, it goes where I go... if you think you could misplace it or leave it somewhere, probably a good idea to tag it...

Usually on the bags we check with the porters we will put more than one Carnival luggage tag on them just in case one would get torn off. Our luggage has top and side handles and we place a tag on each. We do not tag carry ons.

Tag everything! I'm careful with my carry-ons but unexpected things do happen. The tags are free and plentiful-you can get extras at the pier. Bring address labels-put one on the tag, add the room # and your set to go!

I got my docs for my Valor trip for Feb 25 and my bag tags said "Holiday"! I called and they sent me Valor ones!
