mays3 Posted February 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2007 I will be taking my first cruise March 3, Holiday to Costa Maya and Cozumel. I have read that sometimes due to weather and seas you may not stop at ports on your itinerary, what happens if you have purchased excursions at that location through Carnival? Also, why are some excursion more $ if you book them through Carnival? Anyone gone on the Atlantis Submarine in Cozumel or Uvero Boat Blast in Costa Maya? Thanks so much!! That is one advantage of booking through Carnival, you immediately get credited for your excursion to your sail and sign account. If you don't book with Carnival, make sure you understand the policy for refunds if you don't make port. Usually Carnival excursions are always more expensive. There are lots of reviews and information in the port forums for Coz and Costa Maya, that info is not kept here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
baseball16 Posted February 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2007 This time of year should not be that bad for weather problems getting into a port in the caribbean. However during hurricane season it is likely. If the water is too bad for an excursion it may be cancelled and you will be credited. baseball16
