librarygal Posted February 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2007 We are going on our first cruise on Princess this Saturday. :) When I fill out the luggage tags and it asks for Bag __ of __ is that per person or per cabin? In other words, if my husband and I each have one bag should I put bag 1 of 1 on my tag or bag one of two? I would hate for them to spend time looking for a bag that did not exist. Also, can we carry a garment bag on board or does that have to be tagged and given to the porters? Thanks Mary
calikak Posted February 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2007 I usually count the number per cabin not per person, but that's just me. I don't think they look that closely at it, they're mainly looking for the cabin number and the name (in case you got an upgrade or otherwise changed cabins after you filled out your luggage tags). Spikesgirl Posted February 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2007 It is the total of bags for that cabin, so if you have three bags, combined it would be 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3. That way they know how many bags should be delivered per cabin. If you want to carry your garment bag onto the ship, as long as it will fit through a x-ray machine (like the ones at the airports), there shouldn't be a problem. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. Have an incredible cruise and don't forget to review! Charlie
