J&KCruisers Posted February 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Has anyone been on the Walkerswood Jerk Tour. I am looking for a side tour to get a flavor of the cooking and the agriculture of Jamaica. Any review of this location would be appreciated. Thanks,
KariB Posted February 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2007 We went on a tour of Walkerswood last November. It was the tour that touched on the Jerk cooking aspects, and not the full fledged in depth cooking tour. We all loved it though (all the way from the 7 year old to the 83 year old.). They really told about how they grow the seasonings, to the way they preserve the lands, to how to cook the food. There is a cooking demonstration with a taste size sample of the food. Believe me though, should you buy the seasonings in their shop there, you can definitely cook it yourself! I would highly recommend this tour to anybody…we loved it!
