sanguinered Posted February 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2007 DH and I will be in Cozumel in Late March and are wondering if Mayan Paradise Tours is still operating? I used them in Sept. '05 and really enjoyed the excursion. However, I can't find any recent posts on the boards regarding them. If they aren't operating - is there anyone similar on the island? I guess our next choice would be Eagle Ray. Thanks!!
rwillis9 Posted February 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Their website is still up and running. It also has been updated and has 2007 on the bottom. The link is http://www.mayanparadisetours.com/. I might have to look at them too.
texdeb Posted February 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2007 We used them in Jan.06 and we loved them. They are planning on opening soon. I got this e-mail from we were asking about Feb.08 Hi Debbie, We'll probably be reopening the web site soon, but I'm afraid that we probably won't be offering snuba diving. As an alternative, you might want to consider Eagle Ray Divers ( http://www.eagleraydivers.com) or Sand Dollar Sports ( http://sanddollarsports.net/sd_snuba.php). I hope you enjoy Cozumel in any case. Best, Mark

sanguinered Posted February 16, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Thanks for the helpful posts. I emailed them as well and this was the response I received: We'd love to have you as our guests, but I'm afraid that our operations are closed at the moment. As an alternative, you might want to consider Eagle Ray Divers ( http://www.eagleraydivers.com) or Sand Dollar Sports ( http://sanddollarsports.net/sd_snuba.php). I hope you enjoy Cozumel in any case. Best, Mark Not sure what the story is, but I guess we'll have to look elsewhere this time. We'll probably go with Eagle Ray, since after a small amount of research I haven't been able to find much on Sand Dollar Sports.
