lynnw68 Posted February 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Has anybody had any problems with booking a cabin on this deck? Is it worth the extra money to move up a deck? Thanks.
serene56 Posted February 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2007 Oceanviews and inside cabins will be the same on each deck. For Motion sickness problems that you may encounter low is where you want to be. THe higher you go the more motion could be felt. Riveria deck is a quiet deck-- Have stayed on this deck on the Legend and was quite impressed. Booking gurantee is cheaper and you could get upgraded. If you have nothing to compare it to-- thats the way to go
Yorkiemoma Posted February 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2007 I just booked my first cruise and choose the Riveria leval because I was told since it was a low leval the chances of motion sickness will be less. I booked an ocean view room and paid the extra money to have a guarenteed room. I don't want to take chances on being sick all during my cruise and since I booked so early I was assigned a nice location for the room (R 123), so i have been told. Now about upgrading what else can I get thats better and when should I ask for it.? We are leaving 10/06/07 for 5 days out of New Orleans
cuyahoga11 Posted February 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2007 My first 2 cruises were OV midship rivera deck. Love it down there. Quiet, less motion. Now if they would only put balconies down there I would be set.
Deb1113 Posted September 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2007 I got off the Victory yesterday and was in room 1113 on the Rivera deck. This was an OV guarantee and I could not have been more pleased with the location.
Leo Jay Posted September 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2007 We've sailed in an Oceanview on Riviera and loved being so close to the water. Wouldn't want to be on any other level with an OV.
