Atlantis Sub and Beaches

We are thinking of booking the Atlantis Sub Tour and we are wondering how far it is from the beaches. The tour only takes about 2 hrs, so we were thinking of spending the rest of the day on a beach, can we walk (DH is weary of taking taxi, thinks we won't get back to port in time) to one and which one is the best, maybe Rum Point?

Atlantis is right downtown, just a short walk south of the harbour. Rum Point is a 45 minute car ride from there... so if you walk, you definitely won't make it back in time! :D

 

There is no good beach within really short walking distance of the dock. Perhaps a mile and a half north of the dock is as close as it gets.
