Final Payment ~ Cabin assignment

I was wondering....is there an advantage to paying the balance before the final pay date. And, I have a guaranteed cat. AD, when might I see the cabin number? Thanks

My final payment was due yesterday and I did not make it early. Cabin assignment was made yesterday also.

No real advantage, except that it helps avoid spending the money on something else. Check your Cruise Personalizer/My Princess to see if you have a cabin assignment, if you haven't done so already.

No real advantage to making final payment early that I have ever heard of, except that once in a while fluke where someone did get upgraded, but that probably would hage happened anyway.

 

Cabin assignement will show up anytime between the moment you book and at the latest, as you check your luggage in at the pier. No way to tell on that one. If you don't get an assignment before you leave, no worry, just ask the porters and they will have a sheet with listed cabins and then you can fill in your luggage tags right there as you check them in.
