Leafpeeper Posted February 28, 2007 #127 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Hi Shoreguy, Can you tell me what the price of Domestic beer is and if they are offering any bucket or helmet specials. Always enjoy reading your updates. Thanks We cruised on NCL Star Feb 2 and a bucket of domestic was $19.75. Not bad, but we remember when they had 11-midnight specials of buy one and get one free a couple years ago in the Star Bar. Miss those days. Leafpeeper Posted February 28, 2007 #128 Share Posted February 28, 2007 For those people leaving tomorrow, HAVE A GREAT CRUISE!!!. We've been home from our NCL Star cruise for two weeks, and I am already itchy to book another cruise. I'd rather be on the Dawn will engine problems than stuck home this time of year. At least we did have temps around 50 today in the northeast. Spring has to be around the corner. At least our DD will arrive home from the Dawn without snow on the ground. I hate to give her back her puppy. She has been a delight. Welcome home Shoreguy! Won't be long until you see the coastline lights and the Verrazano Bridge. Glad you liked LaTrattoria. First thing I ate when we got home two weeks ago was Italian food--seafood second night.
SuiteCruiser Posted February 28, 2007 #129 Share Posted February 28, 2007 The 3/1 Dawn cruise WILL be in Samana from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The information I received was through an e-mail directly from NCL. If I could figure out a way to copy the darn pdf I'd do it -- or attach it... Great news then! I was worried that you mis-read the 1 for a 7 as it the font was hard to read. I just didn't want you disappointed. Have a great trip & check in now and then if you can and let us know how it's going, I'm on the next sailing. smeyer418 Posted March 2, 2007 #145 Share Posted March 2, 2007 You know we all knew it was off but no one said anything because it was an "in" thing to know it was 2/18. We could have easliy asked Cecilia to change it but didn't...the bad is on the one who outed it.

Cosmopolitan Posted March 3, 2007 #149 Share Posted March 3, 2007 Shoreguy ~ What is your impression (no pun intended) of the menus compared to last February? Were the Dawn menus comparable to the Pearl menus? How many evenings did you dine at Impressions? Isn't the atmosphere even lovelier (at Impressions) with those screens/room dividers removed? A great improvement:)

A great improvement:) I know I am not Shoreguy, I was on the 2/8 Dawn. I ate in Impressions seven out of the 10 nights. The menu was the best that I had on any NCL cruise and I have been on 9 now on 4 different ships. Among the new things I learned was the Impressions was originally intended to be the Bistro...
