Oscar Party??

We are sailing on the Crown this Saturday and the Oscars are held on Sunday - our first formal night. Does anyone know if Princess holds any sort of parties or if they will broadcast the show?

 

I thought it would be fun if they held something since everyone will be dressed up for the formal night...

I have never heard of any Oscar parties being held on the ships. All I ever heard is Super Bowl and other certain biggy sports games. Sorry.

Princess has advertised "Hollywood Bash" parties on Oscar night for ships with MUTS. It might be a good time, would be even more fun if Princess could do their own red carpet thing.

You know Rob maybe you are right about the MUTS ships having the Oscar party. The OP is going on the Crown so maybe so but just never heard of it.:confused:

I'll post a review when I return and let everyone know if they did something special for the Oscars.

I looked to see if Princess had issued a press release like they have in past years for Caribbean Princess' Oscar party. I didn't find one, but I think it's safe to assume that they will have some kind of event at MUTS that evening.

Just off the Dawn, and much to everyone's sadness, they were unable to decode (which princess had paid for) the feed for the event. The CD and his staff did a wonderful job setting up a party with red carpet and all...give aways...trivia...it was beautiful! Sadly no awards....hmmmm....oh well...thank goodness for Tivo.
