Customs in Vancouver for US Citizens

I know there is *something* in place where US citizens can easily go thru customs from the cruise ships ending in Vancouver ... where we are then coming back to the US by air. We begin our cruise in Anchorage and end in Vancouver ... then go to YVR for a flight back to the States. Supposed to be something ... but can't seem to find it. Does anyone know?
