southwardbound Posted February 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2007 We have scheduled (2)snorkeling excursions in mid March and we were wondering if we will need to bring our wet suits. They are not full length wet suits, short sleeves and legs. How cold will the water be in March? Thanks!
thecruisers723 Posted February 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2007 We snorkeled in Nassau in March of 2005. We were fine without wetsuits. We also swam in the pool at the British Colonial Hilton that day and the water was actually too warm to be refreshing. We are going to snorkel in Nassau again 3 weeks from today and have no plans to wear wet suits. We've also been in the water for the dolphin encounter in early February in Nassau before and it wasn't cold then either.
