Uh Oh....Ruins and River Wallace Bad reviews

There is a great "reviewer" on the Carnival thread...a gal with a sense of humor and very good at describing things.

 

However, her review of the Altun Ha/River Wallace is a thumbs down about the "river" part...hot boat ride..also the tour from Carnival kept them at a crummy 'resort" to have them spend money, cutting short the ruins part it seems...

then another person on the same sailing panned the river wallace part

 

I have posted before I don't want to go on the river...a boat with NO cover/top...in the heat? No thanks....

 

I have read other reviews where the people get drenched as rain can come quickly, with no warning, in the tropics/rainforest

 

I was thinking about booking the ship tour to ruins only ...but this really sounds pretty lousy, maybe Carnival has contracted with a new/different tour company....?? Cause others have enjoyed the River Wallace boat part of the tour....but things change

 

Older reviews really don't mean much if things "change" IMHO

 

Fresh reviews like this one give a better picture.
