Beaches at St Thomas, Tortola & Samana

We are going on a NCL cruise for the first time next week and the ports are St Thomas, Tortola and Samana. We have 3 young kids and we will not be using the excursion from the ship. We would like to hang out by a beach. Can you recommend some beaches, how to get there, how much it will cost?

If you are going on NCL next week, you probably are not going to Samana which is in the Domnican Republic. NCL is not going to Samana until the fall. You are probably going to Roseau in Domnica. It is not the same country. If you are going on the Pearl, it is FABULOUS.

 

Anyway, you may want to go to the Port section of the board and check on the individual ports for easy to get to beaches.
