DeckDad Posted March 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2007 My son took the New Waves course on the Grand Princess. Good deal at $359, including book, classes, pool dives, and open water dives in Roatan and Cozumel (which are listed at $129 each). Only one thing--very serious. Pool dives at 7AM on sea days, and a couple of afternoons in his cabin studying the manual. But you get certified in one week instead of a couple of months. Recommended for older kids who are afraid they'll be bored on a cruise.
