late flight day hotel or just pay for extra night

We have a 1055pm flight on Delta the day after our cruise. We were wondering if any hotels do day stay's. Until 5pm or so. Or would it be best to do an extra day at the hotel and check out around 8pm. We want to spend some time at the beach and want to take a showere before our flight leaves?

no the hotels don't do day rates.

 

If you pay for a night they can usually do late checkout. They'll hold your bags at the bellstand. You probably could use the pool shower after checking out, change in the restroom. Explain the situation and ask the front desk, they might suggest something. If you can stay an extra day or two that'd be nice, there's plenty to see on Oahu.
