Names on birth certificates

Does it matter if my parents names are not stated on my BC. Got one for both me and my DH today and his does and mine doesn't. I know the one I sent along with my passport application did not have my parents names either and I have used that one on my pervious cruises. Just checking with all these passport/BC horror stories.

I answered your other post where you said you went to the courthouse to get it. Right? Then it is a certified copy, you shouldn't have any problems. Deep breath and relax!!!!!:p

Not sure, if it is a certified with a seal/watermark you should be fine. I was told I need my marraige certificate as well, since my maiden name is on my BC and my married name is on my current ID.

I lugged my marriage certificate along on many cruises before we got the passport, never once (on 3 different lines) did they ever ask for it.
