Mariner in Alaska May 30, 2007

This will be my wife and I's first trip on Regent and first trip to Alaska.

Any advice on clothing and anchorage? Many folks have suggested getting there a day or two early. We would appreciate any input from people in the know.

My family is on the cruise right after yours. It is our first Alaskan cruise as well. From reading the posts here, the Tracy Arm excursion is not to be missed. And if you arrive a day or so early in Anchorage, I've read that Kenai Fjords is beautiful, in Seward. If we were doing your route, with Anchorage first, we would visit Denali.
