PhoenixCruiser Posted March 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2007 They are usually small and very short!! I suggest doing a search on Webshots to see if anyone posted any pictures. Just be specific on your search. ###
FitzLA Posted March 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2007 They CAN accommodate 2 people, but I would say that if they are large people, it would be tight. They are the size of a full size bed. Smaller than a queen and larger than a twin.
sk8man Posted March 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2007 Any on that has been on or just off the freedom in a D1 cabin.know if the fold out couch is big enough for 2 adults to sleep on??? PLEASE HELP The answer is yes. We did it last Sept. Now just because we did it, certainly doesn't mean it was comfortable. We had enough room, I just think RCCLs sofa beds are a form of torture.:D

lovetocruise99 Posted March 9, 2007 #7 Share Posted March 9, 2007 The sofa beds are unbelievably hard and uncomfortable. Think about taking the cushions out of your couch and sleeping on the hard inside part of a couch. The sofa beds are not the kind of sofa bed you might have in your house because there's not a mattress or anything to make it softer. Plus there's a dip in the middle where it is folded down. I wouldn't try it for two adults!
BLACKBELTBLONDE Posted March 14, 2007 #8 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Here is your answer.. Just ask your cabin steward for 2 extra comforters. He should accommodate your request, if not, make it twice..this is your cruise, right!?;) We put the bed out and put the two super thick comforters on the bed FIRST, it all but eliminated the "pull out bed hump". Slept pretty well actually, and neither one of us are particularly small either! Just put the extra comforters in the space over top the closet when you get up so he leaves them for you. Have fun..we LOVED the Freedom, Ken Rush is awesome!!:D
