Cruising in August

Is it a good idea, or not? I know the ships can sail around bad weather, but is this too risky?

Well, it is a bit of a risk, but for many of us, it is the only time of year we CAN cruise, so we have no choice. And the lower prices are very tempting!

 

Cruise insurance and flying into the port a day or two in advance of the sailing offset the risk enough that we're comfortable with booking cruises during hurricane season.

I always cruise the second week in August and I haven't had any problems.:o
