cuizinmania Posted March 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We are going a day early for our Mariner cruise out of Port Canaveral this June, staying at the Raddison. I was wondering do we need to rent a car to get around, or would a shuttle to the hotel suffice. We plan on hanging around the hotel, and possibly go to a restaurant. bobbie0253 Posted March 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We stay there too and rent from Budget. The office is next door to the hotel. We rent at the airport and drop off at the hotel.
elleluv Posted March 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2007 How did you plan on getting from MCO to the Raddison without a car? I would definitely rent one, we've also used Budget... www.budget.com There are often times coupons at this site... www.mousesavers.com. It's generally costs about $40 for a rental from MCO to Port Canaveral. A car rental would be the least expensive method of getting from the airport to Port Canaveral anyway, even if you weren't coming in the day before and needing transportation. Have a great trip! :)
ken_nyc Posted March 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We have always stayed at the Radisson and rented from AVIS, which is nearby and they have a free shuttle when you return your car. Also another tip is you can drop everyone and the luggage off at the pier and then return your car. Nothing to drag back on the shuttle and you have someone on line.
