unique - best souvenir

Traveling to Freeport in a few weeks - looking for ideas on something to take home with me as a reminder of a soon to be awesome vacation. Any souvenir recommendations? Looking for something not made in China or Japan that I could buy in the Dollar store back home!

While in Nassau, we got a 10 cent bahama coin. Ask the local people where you can get one. I don't remember how we got it, I think it was from our tour guide. he gave us a bahama dollar too. Very unique reminder of our trip!

Bahamian money is very colorful and unique. Great for souveniers. Most store clerks will give you change/ dollars in exchange for american money.

Bring a baggie and grab some sand, or a rock / pebbles, take home and make your own display, using a small vase.

Or take a beautiful picture of the Atlantis, or the state flower, ( all flowers are beautiful there) maybe include yourself, or not...in the picture, then take it home , enlarge and frame. I love doing this!
