upgrading on carnival triumph

Hi all

 

We are sailing with Carnival Triumph in May on our belated honeymoon and i was hoping to do a sneaky upgrade before hand as a suprise to DH. I booked it through hotwire so would i contact them to upgrade or carnival direct? It is on the 5th May so am i better off waiting till nearer the time?

I'm not looking for a free upgrade, i dont mind paying.

any ideas? hotwire or carnival direct?
