Metalleg Posted March 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2007 If you bring wine/champagne on board legally is this just for the dinning room and/or public places, or can you enjoy it in your room?? Thanks Troy

CGAGE Posted March 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Hello from a fellow "Hoosier"! I'm originally from Indianapolis! Go Colts!!! Anyway...we've always brought wine and champagne on board with us and yes...you most certainly can enjoy it in your room! Be sure to order extra wine/champagne glasses from room service and also ask them for a bucket of ice to chill your bubbly or white wine! One thing not to forget...a corkscrew!!!!! Enjoy! Cotton Posted March 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Once, I forgot my corkscrew, and the cabin steward kindly gave me one w/Carnival logo. That was awhile back, so I don't know if they still have those or not. I still have mine as a little reminder of that great cruise. Most seem to take their wine on board to have in the cabins, I think. Don't take the bottle on deck...but you can take a glass of wine with you when you leave your cabin...and even into the dining room. If you take a bottle of wine to the dining room, take an unopened bottle. (Kinda tacky to take opened one.) You may OR may not be charged the corkage fee.:)
