Hi Golferdog....I emailed Gala Resort back in January and asked them about daypasses...never heard back from them...if you want to try, the email is GalaResort@Oaxaca-Hotel-Group.com

I phoned Barcel Karmina Palace ( 800-227-2356 ) ..their day pass is $ 75, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., breakfast, lunch, dinner- buffets, towel, access to pool, 3 bars on grounds plus pool bar (domestic drinks only), day and night entertainment, and water activities...

hope you have a great day in Huatulco !! looks like we're going ATV'ing :D

There's also the Las Brisas hotel in Huatulco which has several relaxing beaches, a pool, etc...

Other ideas include the 7 bays boat tour, snorkelling, coffee plantation tour, shopping in Santa Cruz, Mescal liquor sampling, and we even managed to get up the courage to try eating a grasshopper.

Its a beautiful area!
