Anybody ever used Star Tours?

Has anybody ever done the snorkeling excursion through Star Tours? If so was it good or bad.

:) There was a very good review of Star Tours recently on this board. I tried to find it, but couldn't. It was from "envirolawyer."

Anyway, we just booked with them for our May visit after MUCH research. I corresponded with Ramon, the owner, via email several times, and he was very helpful and informative. Their tours seem to be very personalized, small, and intimate. We wanted to stay away from the large tours with tons of cruise passengers. Star Tours only takes up to 12 and most of the reviews I've read there have only been a few people at most.

Their cost is $45 for 3 stops, one shark/rays, and 2 other snorkel stops off of Caye Caulker. Included in this price is the water taxi price to Caye Caulker.

Did you have to pay when you booked or when you got there?

I paid upfront, $45 each. They do say it is refundable if you cannot dock in Belize.
