? about Carnival website

I am new to researching cruises online and I have a question about Carnival's website. I've tried to look at different cruises to comparison shop and I can't unless I "register" online.

None of the other websites I've been to (RCCL, Celebrity, Crystal, Windjammer, Cunard) require this "registration" just to research cruises. You can see iteneraries, cabins, prices, etc. just by "clicking" on the buttons.

I can understand the need to register when one is ready to book a cruise, but just to look? Seems kind of strange to me.

Thanks.

Travelocity will give you the exact same info and almost the exact same prices, and all the information is easy to read. Carnival's website does that just so they have an 'in', and can e-mail you now and then.. it's not all that bad, and you may even run across a sale from Carnival that may interest you!

Signing in or registering with Carnival is really painless.. ;)

Plus... once you are signed it - it remembers you. You only have to do this once. Plus they offer wonderful deals in e-mail.

I have booked a suprise cruise (Europe) on Carnival next year. VERY good deal.

Kodiac :)
