Any single parent planning to book Carnival Pride for Mexico this summer?

I want to take my 6-year-old son on a Mexican Riviera cruise this summer on the Carnival Pride (there are no posts on the Roll Call for Pride).

 

I am totally open with regards to date, any time from the beginning of July to the second week of August.

 

I'm sure we would have a great time in any case -- but just want to check if any other single parents or singles are booked on this cruise or interested in going on the same date.

I am also thinking of taking my 9 year old girl on a cruise this summer, where does the ship port? which ship? any more details..

I decided to book the new 5-day itinerary on Carnival Elation from San Diego to Cabo on August 11. If any of you are on the same cruise, let me know! Otherwise, have a great time whichever cruise you take!!!
