kathy-ann Posted March 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2007 Hi all My husband and I are flying in to Vancouver from the UK and wonder where and when we will go through customs on entering the USA. I've heard such stories about delays at airports (and it may be the same on entering Canada, I don't know) but how does the system work when you're on a cruise? I know you cruise experts will have all the answers and can I add my thanks in advance.
fti Posted March 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2007 You go through US customs at the port in Vancouver.
Bluenose Sandy Posted March 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2007 If your flight is arriving direct from the UK, you'll go through Canadian customs at the airport, then when you arrive at the pier to embark for your cruise, you'll go through US customs before you actually get on the ship. gambit57 Posted March 28, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2007 From UK to Vancouver? Well, you don't hit any US airport customs. You'll just hit airport customs in Canada, and it's Canadian customs. Any US customs you might encounter will be on the ship or at the pier. That kinda customs is always much quicker than customs at the airport.
