Cash or CC in Straw Market?

I was wondering if you can readily use you credit card in the straw market or is cash preferred?

Cash only... I don't think any of the "booths" are set up to take plastic! And I'm not sure I'd want any of the sales people to have my credit card number!

Definately Cash Only. But if you are shopping in the stores downtown (ex. Gucci, Del-Sol, jewelry stores) most of them take CC.

They take US dollars no problem. Dont be afraid to bargain. If you go to low for them they will let you know. My daughter loves the knock off purses you can get. But watch for this. You find something you like such as a purse and negotiate a price. They then put the display purse back and give you one from under the table. Examine it good first. We have bought 2 that had spots on them. It can get crazy and hot in there so we didnt look at them real close. Thats My fault. The straw market can be a bit overwhelming for first timers. We have been there at least 3 times and we love it. I always come out with something.

Remember to take small bills, lots of ones and fives. Make sure you get your change in US dollars.
