Stateroom question

We will be cruising in the late Fall on the Noordam. We have booked an SY cabin because SS are just below the Lido deck and on our last cruise (we were on Deck 7 on the Amsterdam ) we could get some noises from the Lido, especially from the Ping Pong table.

What do you all think of the SY on Noordam and if you have any pictures that would be fantastic. We are Port Side.

Just can't wait.

We were in a VA cabin on the Noordam earlier this month, 8141, which is on Navigation, center aft. Therefore, we were right below the Lido's back railing and we heard no noise at all, except for some quiet talking from above us if we were out on our verandah. Our only problem was that occasional trash--napkins, mostly; once a paperback book!--blew over the Lido railing onto our verandah. But, if we heard no noise where we were, I wouldn't think you would hear any Lido noise where you've planned to be.

We were in SY 6056 in February on the Noordam. We absolutely loved it! No sound problems, veiw was wonderful except the penthouse above us could see us if we were at our balcony and they at theirs. Would book it again in a heart beat!

One of the pictures has a caption saying "deluxe veranda suite": it is not a deluxe as deluxe is 510 sq feet in the SA-SC range. The picture is of a superior cabin in the SS-SZ range. You can tell by the couch, which in this picture is not a wrap around and the foot of the bed is too close to the couch for it to be a deluxe cabin. Just trying to avoid confusion.
