mrsail Posted March 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2007 Can anyone give me some advice on cabin 1806 at the very front of the Amsterdam on the Dolphin Deck for an Alaskan cruise in June. The cabins look large but we're concerned about movement. Not much available at this point.
CrystalLady Posted March 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2007 On Amsterdam - or ANY ship, for that matter - you'll feel the ship pitching if there's that type of motion to the ocean, and you'll hear the forward thrusters and anchors if/when they're in use. The thrusters will be used whenever you dock or sail.
arzz Posted April 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2007 At the bow of the ship you will also hear the waves as large thumps against the hull if you wander into any significant seas.
