emergency contact numbers?

I am preparing a list of emergency contact numbers for my neighbor when I am on my cruise, but I don't know what number to use for trying to contact the ship. Would it just be the 1-800-Princess?

Thanks!

If you look in your precruise "CRUISE ANSWER BOOK" ON PAGE 5 it gives this information. It says "For all ships call 1-900329SHIP from the US"

or

dial 870 and the ship's number listed on page 5

It does say check that these numbers haven't changed before you depart.

Best wishes

The last time someone called me it was $9.95/min. It goes through a routing center then to the ship. You may get paged but if you are on shore they will leave a message for you. It is cheaper and easier to send an emainl. The ship namePrincess@Princess.com. This will get you an e-mail message to your cabin. My son used this to contact me. BTW the phone bill for the call was almost $300.00. The e-mail was free.

My sister now sends e-mails on our father's health when I'm gone.

Have used

shipname@princesscruises.com

in the past and it worked well.

Put you last name and cabin number in the subject line. The email comes into the ships communication centre, is printed off and placed into an envelope. It is then delivered to you cabin and left in the mail slot outside the foor.

ie., for the Grand Princess use: grandprincess@princesscruises.com

I love the email idea of being in contact. I wouldn't have to check my email daily to see if there are problems at home. My parents could just email the ship if they need us and we will get a message in the cabin. Thanks for the info.
