cruser2 Posted April 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2007 Does anyone have advise on the best time of year to cruise the western caribbean. We are thinking of early Feb. 2008 on Grand Princess out of Ft. Lauderdale. Not crazy about March with spring break. (6) adults - 50 and above in age will be traveling. Any recommendations wouldbe helpful. Thank you in advance
petel Posted April 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2007 We cruise every chance we get.:) We've been in W. Carib each Feb for the last 3 years and loved every minute of it. You are absolutely correct to avoid Spring Break especially sailing out of FLL. Since any cruise is better than any day a work I say just go!!!! but there is nothing that I know of that would put a damper on a Feb cruise. Have a great time. :D
Bebet Posted April 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2007 I was in Cozumel and Costa Maya the first weekend of Feb last year. Cozumel was great, Costa Maya was rainy. Still had a great time.
TennisLover Posted April 8, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2007 We've cruised in February for the last few years. The weather when you leave Florida is iffy, but it is great in the Caribbean.
