cherski Posted April 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2007 We're considering booking a balcony on FOS on Deck 6. Our concern is that when we look down, we'll be looking into the lifeboats hanging along the side of the ship. This has been the case on some other ships that we've been on but pictures of the Freedom of the Seas look like the lifeboats are tucked underneath the balconies rather than sticking out. Mom wants to be able to look down from the balcony and see water, not lifeboat cover. Where are the lifeboats exactly in relation to the deck 6 balconies? Thanks, Cher

Thanks, Cher I had a D2 balcony cabin on deck 6 on both my cruises onboard the Freedom (6522 & 6548). The lifeboats are not a problem as far as your view goes...thankfully the lifeboats are "tucked" more inward therefore you're able to look directly down into the water. ENJOY!:D :D
