robrike Posted April 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2007 How would you go about pulling such a feat? I am wondering too. Would they just leave the hull there in the bay? I was there in 2001 on Royal Carribean and just wonder how far down she is? I heard 330ft but is that from the bottom of the ocean or from the highest spot protruding from the hull? Thanks, Rob
wb2 Posted April 14, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2007 I've heard various reports that the bow is shallow 5 - 20 meters and the stern in in over 200 meters depth and upside down... here is a picture taken from the submersible looking at the wreck at 107 meters. http://es.news.yahoo.com/11042007/24/foto/the-hull-of-the-sunken-sea-diamond-cruise-ship-is.html http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/pictures/ATH02.htm
