CB - Rays, Reef, and Rum Point Excursion??

Has anyone done this excursion in Grand Cayman through Princess? We really wanted to book it through an outside tour company, but unfortunately they are all booked up already. The one through the ship is more expensive, but I thought I'd investigate it just the same.

 

How many people were on the boat? I don't want it to be crowded!!

That is really a shame, the Princess excursion will definitely be more crowded ~ I assume you have read the St Thomas Port of Call board for ideas and googled all sorts of things in your search for a private carrier. Good Luck, maybe you can ask to be put on a cancellation list with the private companies and somehow something will come thru for you.

We did the Rays, Reef and Rum Point excursion in March of this year. We booked through the ship (Coral) because the local tour operators were booked.

 

We LOVED this excursion. It was well organized and prompt. The three staff members were well informed and helpful. It's not that much more expensive booking through the ship and well worth it.

 

There were only about 12 of us, although the boat could have probably taken 20. It was one of the smaller boats at Sting Ray City and we anchored right in the mix of rays.
