Ft Lauderdale airport to Miami Transportation

We have taken about as many different modes of transportation to Miami as I think there are possible. All have worked out for us. Our most recent was using a limo through www.limosofmiami.com for 8 of us. We have also rented a van, taken a shuttle, and used the Carnival transfers. Depending on how many people in your party it might be best to use Super Shuttle. There is usually a mad scramble to get a free shuttle to the port for the few hotels that offer the service. You can find out some more available options at http://www.lifeiscruising.com/ground_transportation. Hope you don't mind Chris!

This year, we are going to rent a car, since we too are flying in a day early to FLL and leaving from MIA. In Florida, they dont have expensive drop fees if returning to other locations. Full Size rental for one day Pick up from FLL and drop at MIA with FREE shuttle to PORT OF MIAMI can be had for $40.

We always fly into FLL when possible due to price......we rent a car, Usually from Avis, then drop in at Miami airport and take the free shuttle to the port.....shuttles run every 30 minutes....we try to catch the 10:30 shuttle...

has always worked great:D
