Snorkeling in Montego Bay?

Is there a nice and sandy beach to go snorkeling at in Montego Bay??

Hi,

 

I hope you get a reply but if you search I think you'll find most people find Jamaica is not a great snorkeling island. My experiences have been the reefs are in pretty bad shape and most people enjoy the people and land of Jamacia and leave snorkeling for other ports of call (though I hope someone can say differently).

Thanks for the reply! I posted the same question on the Jamaica message board and haven't gotten a response, so I am guessing not good snorkeling! I was trying to find something to do with the kids! I guess we will have to keep looking! Definitely thanks for letting me know though..

We snorkeled in MoBay at Sunset Beach Resort. It costs $40 per person to enter but it's all-inclusive....food, drinks, activities.

 

The snorkeling wasn't world-class, but it wasn't bad either.
