St. Thomas?

I'm booked on Wind Spirit, R/T from St. Thomas (a new place for me).

 

Any suggestions for a hotel for 2 nights before the cruise, and/or for things to see there on a full day between my late evening arrival on a Thursday and the ship's departure on Saturday afternoon?

 

Also, any suggestions for transport from hotel to the ship? I'm hoping for an arrangement similar to mine in Costa Rica in January: small charming local hotel near the airport with shuttle service, and transport by an equivalent to Coach Costa Rica, whose driver gave me a marvelous tour en route to the ship, and again on return.

 

Also, do you know the distance between the STT airport and the dock from which Wind Spirit sails?

 

Fortunately, there's plenty of time between now and then to figure things out!

Magan's Bay is by far one of the most beautiful beaches I have been on - I would highly recommend it!

sapphire beach was real nice , had a resort too, don;t know if you can get it for a few days... had a real pretty pool, :rolleyes:

We were in a taxi with 2 women that did the Wind Spirit, they stayed in town at a smaller hotel, not too far away from the pier. They just had taken a taxi from the airport. Have fun on your cruise!
