Need Advice on St Thomas Excursions

my sister & I will be taking my 91 yr. old mom on the Carnival Miracle this May, we will be in St. Thomas on May 7th from 7am - 6pm. I am looking for an excursion to take mom on, she's not a beach person. She is very mobil for her age (she walks about 2+ miles every day). Don't really want to book through Carnival. Have any suggestions? any and all information will be appreciated. Thanks.

How about an island tour for about 2 hours, lunch downtown or perhaps at a beachfront resturant and then maybe the Paradise Point tram in the afternoon.

 

Hopefully others will share suggestions.
