Best way to get to the airport post-cruise? FLL

What is the best way to get 2 adults, 2 kids with carseats and a bunch of bags to the airport after our cruise (Port Everglades)? We will have a rental car before the cruise, but afterwards we are on our own. I found a shuttle service for $14 per/person and saw that the vans have seatbelts so we could use our car seats. Is that our best bet or is there something else we should be looking at? Our flight home is at 12:15 (out of FLL) if that makes any difference.

When you step out to the curb after collecting all of your luggage and belongings, one of the porters will be more than happy (for a tip of course) to hail the appropriate taxi for you. They have vans as well as regular cars that are used for the transport to the airport. We didn't have to wait more than a couple of min. for a taxi. No problem at all. Hope you have a great cruise!
