character breakfast

Everyone has a character breakfast and there is no additional cost. I know it is offered on the 7 day, don't know about the 3 and 4 day. In your stateroom there is a dinign ticket. That tells you what your dining rotation is, what dining rooms and what times. I think it also had the date and time of your character breakfast on it.

Our rotation was Animator's Palate, Parrot Cat then Lumiere's. Our character breakfast was on the first full day of the trip, Key West was the port that day. We did not get to Key West until late morning, so there was no problem in making the character breakfast. The character breakfasts were also on the two sea days. One of our dining table mates had a massage scheduled for the time of our breakfast, so she was able to have her family attend the one on one of the other days.

It was fun, my 11 year old even got a kick out of it. Several of the characters were there, going table to table for photos and autographs. The waiters made funny hats out of the napkins, so by the end of the breakfast everyone had a "hat" on.

Our family loved it, but warn the kids that the characters do move quickly in order to make it to all the tables. But most dont seem to mind because it is fun and exciting to have them come to your table.

Many kids dont seem to eat much, they are just too excited.. we had to take the grandkids to the buffet later on for a late breakfast because they were still hungry.

Be sure and take your camera too and snap a few shots.

as stated above, an excellant opportunity for scrapbooking photos!!

Our character breakfast was the first sea day on the Magics Western Caribbean. We had a 9am breakfast but with the time change from EST-CST it was to us at 10am. They do the breakfast on sea days only and on 7 nights only. They breakfast moves quickly.
