If guarantee rooms are offered...

...does that give any indication to the number of rooms still available in that category? I realize that there are not as many suites as ov or verandas, so do they offer guarantees when there are a certain percentage of rooms left? Just curious.

The way X does their gtys seems to be a mystery. If they open a specific category, say SS or 08, it could be they are down to their last couple rooms. But if they open say a balcony gty or a suite gty, they are trying to fill cabins as opposed to being almost out.
