Carolyn R Posted April 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2007 I have an upper front denture and would like to hear from others who have experience with this. Any tips, advice, etc.?
Middleager Posted April 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2007 If the denture is not easily removable, then you should be fine. But the best way to find out is to get a snorkel and try out in the pool first before going on a trip.
Texas_Diver Posted April 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2007 My partner's mother snorkeled with dentures in place on our last cruise. She didn't have any problem with them in place. D.
Stevesan Posted April 27, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Absolutely no problem at all. I have done dozens of snorkels with a full upper and a partial lower and have never even given it a thought. You don't bite down on the mouth piece. That's just a good way to get water in your mouth.:p You seal the mouth piece with your lips, not your teeth.
