Maui Beach Day through ship?

Anyone taken this excursion through NCL? Is there access to shops nearby? Any good lunch places?

I don't know what the ship charges, but if you're talking about more than 1 person, I think it would be more cost effective to rent a car and go and do whatever you want. Get a rental car, head out to Ka'anapali Beach for a few hours, and then go into Lahaina for lunch.

Yes....there is close shopping ..... Whalers Village. Only a 6 min walk from the place (beach) you swim. It is also on the beach. There are also several places to eat at the Village....or at the Sheraton... recommend Hula Grill at the village....on the beach.
