Buying liquor in the ports

The last three cruises I took were all out of NY where I live so I did not have to fly home with my liquor purchases. My question to you is- how do you get it home via the airplane? Should I just bring bubble wrap and pack it in my suitcase? Will the stores ship it home? (how much does it cost if so, and will it actually show up at my house??) I am asking because we usually load up while we are there and bring home as gifts.

Any help would be great!

I think most are just packing them in checked luggage, with bubble wrap and ziplock bags. Im not even sure that it would be worth it, to buy then pay for shipping(if thats even possible)

 

When you say load up how many bottle are your talking about??

Bubble wrap in your checked luggage. Just be careful not to go overweight on your bags.

We LOVE Tortuga Rum! We will be bringing some back with us. We have a cardboard gift box. The tubular, just fits one bottle size, to bring it back in.
