Royal Palms or Hyatt

My wife and I will be in Grand Cayman in two weeks and want to spend half of the day at 7 mile beach. We have narrowed it down to the Royal Palms or the Hyatt. My questions are: Which one has the nice beach? Which one has the better food, drinks, atmosphere? Which one is less crowded? Do they both have showers, changing facilities, lockers? How much does it cost to get in, and what is included in the price? What kinds of watersports do they have?

Thanks for all your help

We (group of 6) are all going to the Royal Palms.... I am so addicted to their live webcam and have noticed that their haven't been that many people so it's not too overcrowded, which I like! I don't know anything about the Hyatt, but from what I see at the Royal Palms, that's all I need to see... we're sold. I hear that the chairs and umbrellas are $5/ea to rent for the day. If you go to their website they also list a food menu. Don't forget that the cost will be a little bit more since we will pay with american dollars. So, will we see you there? We are sailing on Enchantment May 12!!! woohoo!!! My first cruise.
