Travel with kids (not your own)

Recommended Posts

We took our nephews on the Rhapsody. My brother and ex-SIL were divorced. We had to have notarized letters from both parents and we had to show the letters at check-in and the agent made copies of them. We had a harder time at customs coming back than we did getting on the ship. I don't know if the guy was just having a bad day or what, but he really gave us a hard time. Thankfully, they are both over 18 now and can do whatever they want. I would have letters from both parents just in case if at all possible. Better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them. We have taken these nephews on other trips to Canada and always have had to show both letters both to Canadian customs and US customs coming back.
